Presets Agent operates in Lightroom Classic via the plug-in SDK. This covers most of the single-image and batch editing experience — but not everything Lightroom can do. There may be additional limitations not listed here.

One license per machine. The license requires an internet connection to validate — the product cannot be used for extended periods fully offline.

Yes. Presets Agent runs entirely on your machine. Your photos are never sent to our servers. The AI assistant you connect can see your images and their editing settings as part of doing its work — that's governed by the AI app's own privacy policy, not ours. If you optionally configure Gemini pass-through, images go directly to Google Cloud Project that you choose.

Any macOS desktop LLM AI app that supports MCP (HTTP/SSE or stdio) protocol — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Kiro, and others. Web versions of these products are not supported. Presets Agent also exposes a local HTTP API you can call from any tool.

Lightroom Classic only. The cloud-based Lightroom app is not supported.

All edits are stored in your Lightroom catalog as usual. Canceling Presets Agent doesn't affect your photos or edits — they're yours.
